Sister taxon: Eoliarus lutensis

Type specimen: USNM 69615, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Trail Gulch, north side of Roan Creek, which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite in the Green River Formation of Colorado.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Trail Gulch, north side of Roan Creek
