Sister taxa: Enicocephalus omen, Enicocephalus prius, Enicocephalus seniculus

Type specimen: AMNH DR-8-369, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Toca mine (AMNH coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the La Toca Formation of the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber, La Toca mine (AMNH coll)
