Sister taxa: Glikmanius myachkovensis, Glikmanius occidentalis

Type specimen: MPUM 10928, a tooth. Its type locality is Haushi section K4, AO47bis, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Khuff Formation of Oman.
