Type specimen: AMNH DR-6-35, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber, El Valle locality (AMNH collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Yanigua Formation of the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber, El Valle locality (AMNH collection)
