Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: MMP S-257, a mandible (right mandible with last two molariforms). Its type locality is Barrancas del Arroyo Chasicó, which is in a Chasicoan terrestrial horizon in the Arroyo Chasicó Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution: found only at Barrancas del Arroyo Chasicó
