Type specimen: NHMUK PV R36621, a set of postcrania (Partial pelvis and associated sacral vertebrae). Its type locality is Atherfield point, Istiodactylus latidens, which is in a Barremian/Aptian terrestrial shale in the Vectis Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Atherfield point, Istiodactylus latidens
