Type specimen: FMNH P26441, a partial shell (Carapace with one side essentially complete). Its type locality is Finley Ranch House, 4 miles west of DeBeque, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the DeBeque Formation of Colorado.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Finley Ranch House, 4 miles west of DeBeque
