Type specimen: NIGP 115674, a valve (right valve). Its type locality is Halatonggu, sample AEJ-602, which is in a Devonian/Visean carbonate limestone in the Qaganhebu Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Halatonggu, sample AEJ-602
