Type specimen: UF 226255, a partial skull (an articulated dentition including 222 teeth, 45 vertebral centra, portions of the left and right Mec- kel’s cartilages and palatoquadrates, and neurocranium.). Its type locality is Sud-Sacaco West (SAS) horizon), which is in a Messinian foreshore siltstone in the Pisco Formation of Peru.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sud-Sacaco West (SAS) horizon)
