Type specimen: LACMIP 505, a wing (right forewing & left hindwing). Its type locality is Site 10 (LACMIP 357), Calico Hills, which is in a Hemingfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Barstow Formation of California.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Site 10 (LACMIP 357), Calico Hills
