Sister taxa: Promathilda (Promathilda) biserta, Promathilda (Promathilda) subnodosoides
Type specimen: AMNH 27156:4. Its type locality is Cerro de Pasco area, Ninacaca, loc. 86, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in Peru.
Ecology: epifaunal
Distribution:
• Triassic of Peru (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
