Type specimen: NHMW 1899/V/100. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Wiener Hofsmuseums coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at St. Cassian (Wiener Hofsmuseums coll)
