Sister taxon: Dogania subplana
Type specimen: IVPP V 2864, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Maortu, which is in a Turonian terrestrial horizon in the Ulansuhai Formation of China.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of China (2 collections), Kyrgyzstan (1)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
