Type specimen: NHMW 1899/V/368. Its type locality is Heiligen Kreuz near St. Leonhard, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Heiligkreuz Formation of Italy.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at Heiligen Kreuz near St. Leonhard
