Type specimen: PIN 3559/4533, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.

Distribution: found only at Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559)
