Type specimen: 41HIII-0006, a set of postcrania (9 cervicals, 1 dorsal, 4 caudals & right femur). Its type locality is Huamiaogou Village, Liudian Town, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial siltstone in the Haoling Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Huamiaogou Village, Liudian Town
