Type specimen: NHMV, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Monte Castellaro (MCSN collection), which is in a Messinian lagoonal marl in the Gessoso-solfifera Formation of Italy.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Monte Castellaro (MCSN collection)
