Type specimen: Col Piton 1017, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Lac Chambon (Piton coll), which is in a Gelasian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Lac Chambon (Piton coll)
