Belongs to Striatobythoceratina according to H. Kozur 1985
Sister taxa: Striatobythoceratina baloghi, Striatobythoceratina tricostata, Striatobythoceratina virgata
Type specimen: P 1482/Ko 1980 I-586. Its type locality is Mihalovits quarry, sample Bükk 156/1980, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Nagyvisnyo Formation of Hungary.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
