Type specimen: ZMNH M1401, a skeleton. Its type locality is Meishan D, Changxing County (ZMNH coll), which is in a Griesbachian offshore ramp lime mudstone in the Yinkeng Formation of China.
Ecology: planktonic grazer-detritivore
Distribution: found only at Meishan D, Changxing County (ZMNH coll)
