Type specimen: UNM 9375, a shell. Its type locality is Unnamed Arroyo slope, south end of Mud Springs Mountains, which is in a Desmoinesian marine shale in New Mexico.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore

Distribution:

• Carboniferous of United States (3: New Mexico, Texas collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
