Type specimen: AMU-CURS-300, a skull (Almost complete skull with mandibles). Its type locality is Norte Casa Chiguaje meter 17, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial sandstone in the San Gregorio Formation of Venezuela.

Distribution: found only at Norte Casa Chiguaje meter 17
