Sister taxa: Eorpa elverumi, Eorpa jurgeni
Type specimen: 2003.2.6-CDM-030, a wing (forewing overlapping a hind wing with the second hind wing preserved nearby). Its type locality is McAbee (CDM collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
