Type specimen: GS. D54, a shell. Its type locality is Ohirayama Mine, Tosa Limestone Co., which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Takaoka Formation of Japan.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at Ohirayama Mine, Tosa Limestone Co.
