Type specimen: DGEO-UFPE 6745 , a maxilla (Incomplete left maxilla with complete M2–4). Its type locality is Cave of Gruta dos Mouras, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial limestone in Brazil.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cave of Gruta dos Mouras
