Type specimen: SIGMR U.Br.019. Its type locality is Shanxiuling section, bed 9, Kaishantun, Yanji County, which is in an Asselian marine sandstone in the Shanxiuling Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Shanxiuling section, bed 9, Kaishantun, Yanji County
