Sister taxon: Anticonulus lateumbilicatus
Type specimen: SMNS 66778, a shell. Its type locality is B27 Road between Hechingen and Bisingen, which is in an Obtusum carbonate limestone in the Betakalkbank Formation of Germany.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at B27 Road between Hechingen and Bisingen
