Sister taxon: Zygolestes paranensis
Type specimen: GHUNLPam 5310, a mandible (right mandible fragment). Its type locality is Bajo Giuliani, which is in a Huayquerian loess siltstone in the Cerro Azul Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution:
• Huayquerian of Argentina (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
