Type specimen: NIGP 38573, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is ZH99, south Guliqiao, Xiaoxisi section, Zhuji City, which is in an Aptian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Shouchang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at ZH99, south Guliqiao, Xiaoxisi section, Zhuji City
