Type specimen: PIL 13320, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Laguna del Hunco (Miguel Lillo coll), which is in a Ypresian crater lake tuff in Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Laguna del Hunco (Miguel Lillo coll)
