Type specimen: Kirkby S-776, a nymph (instar I larva). Its type locality is Kirkby site 10, Upper Switchback Canyon, which is in a Hemingfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Barstow Formation of California.

Distribution: found only at Kirkby site 10, Upper Switchback Canyon
