Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: ROM 63777, a maxilla (an almost complete right maxilla, missing only the posterior portion of the jugal ramus and an associated maxillary tooth complete with root). Its type locality is 45 km southwest of Jordan (NCD01), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (2: Montana, South Dakota collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
