Type specimen: MGPD 28979, a shell. Its type locality is Via Siesa, Castelnuovo of Teolo, which is in a Priabonian marine marl in the Marna Euganea Formation of Italy.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Via Siesa, Castelnuovo of Teolo
