Sister taxa: Probolarina holmesi, Probolarina salpinx, Probolarina transversa
Type specimen: USNM 551527, a shell. Its type locality is East Coast Construction Co. Quarry (Castle Hayne LS, N. Carolina), which is in a Bartonian marine grainstone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at East Coast Construction Co. Quarry (Castle Hayne LS, N. Carolina)
