Type specimen: RSM P1899.569, a tooth (left M1 or M2). Its type locality is Lac Pelletier Lower Fauna, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Cypress Hills Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Lac Pelletier Lower Fauna
