Sister taxa: Gordenella fahrenkohli, Gordenella inconstantiplicatus, Gordenella krantzi, Gordenella kunceviense, Gordenella pommeranum, Gordenella schlumbergi
Type specimen: Its type locality is Geschiebe from Bauer-Wehrland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which is in a Callovian foreshore sandstone in Germany
Ecology: epifaunal
Distribution: found only at Geschiebe from Bauer-Wehrland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
