Type specimen: FWU Egr 263, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Eschenbach-Bocksberg mine, Bundenbach, which is in an Emsian marine slate in the Hunsrück Slate Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Eschenbach-Bocksberg mine, Bundenbach
