Type specimen: GSGM ZH(08)-04, a partial skeleton (Teeth, presacral vertebrae, pectoral girdle and partial forelimb). Its type locality is Guanmengou No. 4 bonebed, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine siltstone/mudstone in the 5 Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Guanmengou No. 4 bonebed
