Sister taxon: Barbatodon transylvanicus

Type specimen: UBB ODAN-Mt-13, a set of teeth (Isolated M1 and J2). Its type locality is Oarda de Jos A (OdA), which is in a Maastrichtian pond claystone/limestone in the Şard Formation of Romania.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Romania (5 collections)
