Type specimen: DMNH 21461, a partial skull (disarticulated parts of a skull including a piece of the ascending ramus (= nasal process, dorsal process) of the right maxilla, partial skull roof including pa). Its type locality is Kikak-Tegoseak Quarry, which is in a Maastrichtian delta plain siltstone/sandstone in the Prince Creek Formation of Alaska.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Kikak-Tegoseak Quarry
