Type specimen: CM 78000, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Sandy Site, KJ9536 (DMNH 1492), which is in a Lancian fine channel fill sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (4: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota collections)
