Type specimen: UCMP 42223, a limb element (right carpometacarpus). Its type locality is L. A. Mus. no. V492, which is in a Barstovian lacustrine claystone/carbonate in the Barstow Formation of California.
Ecology: volant herbivore
Distribution: found only at L. A. Mus. no. V492
