Type specimen: PIN 2384/196, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2384), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

Distribution: found only at Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2384)
