Belongs to Phyllophaga according to T. D. A. Cockerell 1927
Sister taxa: Phyllophaga avus, Phyllophaga extincta
Type specimen: BMNH Sternberg 139B, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (BMNH Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Florissant (BMNH Collection)
