Type specimen: MCZ 2282, a set of vertebrae (thoracic vertebra). Its type locality is Haile 6A, which is in a Clarendonian/Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Florida.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Haile 6A
