Sister taxon: Hemimylacrella leptophlebiopsis
Type specimen: CM 6898, a tegmen. Its type locality is South Good Spring colliery, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Llewellyn Formation of Pennsylvania.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at South Good Spring colliery
