Type specimen: MNG 10596, a partial skeleton (greater part of postcranial skeleton preserved both in bone and as impressions on counterpart blocks). Its type locality is Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone), which is in an Artinskian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Tambach Formation of Germany.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone)
