Type specimen: Schempp 3335, a wing. Its type locality is Randeck Maar (Schempp collection), which is in a MN 5 crater lake lime mudstone in the Randeck Maar Formation of Germany.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Randeck Maar (Schempp collection)
