Type specimen: MNHN-LP-R.55226, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Chaomidian Village (MNHN coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large shale in the Yixian Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Chaomidian Village (MNHN coll)
