Type specimen: USNM 593552, a carapace. Its type locality is West flank of Big Horn Mountains, which is in a Bajocian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Gypsum Spring Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at West flank of Big Horn Mountains
